The jury in Washoe County, Nevada announced the verdict after reviewing the evidence against the 26-year-old Buckley, according to reports.

He has been charged with robbery with a firearm for the incident on January 24.

Buckley’s sentencing by Judge Barry Breslow is scheduled for December 5, where he may face imprisonment.

Prosecutors stated that Buckley was one of two masked men who robbed the woman at gunpoint.

They accosted her as she was heading back to her car, pulled out a firearm, and forced her into the parking garage’s stairway.

After taking her down two floors in the stairwell, they stole her purse, cell phone, and lunch bag, as reported by Nevada TV station KOLO. Police did not disclose the contents of the purse.

The two suspects then fled in a vehicle driven by a third accomplice.

Reno police used casino surveillance footage to identify Buckley.

There is no information from Reno police regarding the status of the other two suspects.

The recent conviction comes shortly after Buckley was sentenced for a previous weapons charge, where he was found guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

This marks the third conviction for Buckley on a weapons-related charge, according to Nevada TV station KTVN.
