Sportradar Introduces Innovative AI Advertising Platform

Sportradar, a sports betting data provider, has introduced a new artificial intelligence-based (AI) audio advertising platform for its casino and sportsbook clients.

This generative AI feature enhances the company’s multichannel marketing service, enabling gaming companies, especially sportsbook operators, to create personalized advertisements during live games that appeal to bettors and could potentially increase engagement.

Gen AI audio provides operators with a ready-to-use audio marketing solution, allowing them to generate creative content during key sporting and gaming moments to efficiently scale advertising efforts into podcast streaming services and internet radio networks,” according to a statement issued by Sportradar.

Sportradar boasts a strong portfolio of partnerships with professional sports leagues and provides data on over 80 sports across 150 leagues in 120 countries, including some of the major sports leagues in North America.

Sportradar Latest Data Company to Tap AI

Sportradar’s AI-based advertising offering comes at a time when more data providers are utilizing this technology to enhance their range of client services.

Earlier this year, Genius Sports, a competitor, announced a partnership with Elon Musk’s X to utilize AI for serving ads that are relevant to specific conversations and trending topics on the social media platform. Sportradar is also offering advanced levels of AI customization that could appeal to clients in the gaming industry.

“AI-generated audio adverts are the latest addition to Sportradar’s comprehensive, industry-leading, end-to-end marketing services, driving brand awareness, acquisition, and retention across various channels,” Sportradar stated in the announcement.

The company has previously used AI in partnership with the NBA to enhance user engagement through technology and machine learning models.

Sportradar AI Ad Suite Could Be Well-Timed

While the adoption of AI is still in its early stages and requires refinement, gen AI is relatively advanced and widely embraced. This form of technology is readily available and accessible.

Gen AI has proven beneficial across different industries, including gaming, by increasing efficiency in content creation, particularly in audio, images, and video. For sportsbook operators, gen AI could be advantageous as data shows a rise in audio content consumption by bettors.
