Foo Fighters, the immensely popular band led by Dave Grohl that omits “The” from its name, has declared that it will embark on its first stadium tour since 2023, making a stop at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, September 26.

The Foo Fighters recently unveiled their latest track, “Asking for a Friend,” a piece that is widely regarded as a tribute to the band’s drummer Taylor Hawkins, who tragically passed away from a drug overdose in 2022, and/or his mother, Ginny, who also died that year at the age of 84.
Supporting all dates of the “Take Cover” tour will be Queens of the Stone Age and Gouge Away.
Tickets for presale will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, through Ticketmaster, with general ticket sales beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 31.
Flashback to 2000

Demi Lovato is set to kick off her “It’s Not That Deep” tour, her first in three years, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 8. Tickets will be released at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, October 31, through AXS.com.
In other news concerning former teen idols, Ashlee Simpson has added new dates to her “I Am Me” residency at Voltaire at the Venetian. Tickets for the newly announced dates (January 23, 24, 30, and 31) are available now.
No Interest in Sphere Residency
In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk,” Slash expressed his skepticism regarding a possible reunion residency for Guns N’ Roses at the Sphere.

“I have reservations about performing there,” the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee mentioned, noting that Eddie Trunk did not inquire if Sphere Entertainment CEO James Dolan had extended an invitation to the band.
“It looks fantastic visually,” the guitarist remarked, admitting he hasn’t seen it live yet. “However, for bands, it often becomes more about the visuals than witnessing a traditional rock and roll performance.
“That’s one concern,” he continued. Additionally, after speaking with Joe Walsh from the Eagles, he noted that the setup does not favor a genuine rock and roll atmosphere. So… I believe it wouldn’t be the ideal venue for an authentic rock and roll concert.”
