The poker room at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip is back in action following recent renovations. After closing its doors in July 2024, it had been temporarily located in the Appian Way shopping area since May 2025.

Unfortunately, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) area saw minimal renovations, primarily focused on the adjacent high-limit slot area, which temporarily occupied the poker room’s space near the sportsbook.
Nonetheless, Caesars Entertainment has revealed promising enhancements for the poker room at its flagship location.
Revamped Space

In a message on X (formerly Twitter), they noted, “We have taken your feedback seriously and invested in your comfort with brand-new ergonomic chairs and more spacious layouts in the room.”
To make room for these improvements, two tables have been removed, leaving a total of 16 tables now available.
The poker room continues to facilitate a combination of daily tournaments and ongoing cash games, offering an additional dollar in rewards per hour for Player Rewards members, who can now earn $3 per hour for all live cash games.
Despite selling the WSOP intellectual property rights to NSUS Group Inc. for $500 million in 2024, the parent company of GGPoker, Caesars appears to be doubling down in the poker scene. They reopened the poker room at Planet Hollywood in May and remain the sole operator of online poker in Nevada.
As part of the WSOP agreement, Caesars will host major poker events at Horseshoe and Paris until 2044.
The current poker room at Caesars Palace originally opened a decade ago, located conveniently near the sportsbook and Mesa Grill, just prior to the expansion of the former Pure nightclub encroaching upon the old poker space.
Currently, Las Vegas boasts 18 active poker rooms in its casinos, a decline from over 30 prior to the pandemic.
