Jeezy was slated to take the stage at PH Live within Planet Hollywood on Sunday night. However, he made the last-minute decision to cancel his concert — part of his “Legend of the Snowman” series — just hours before it was set to begin.
Contrary to assumptions about his health, the hip-hop icon simply received a more appealing opportunity in New York.

Jay-Z had called upon his former collaborators to join him for the concluding “Extra Innings” show at Yankee Stadium. While fans in New York were ecstatic about Jeezy’s surprise appearances on tracks like “Seen It All” and “Go Crazy,” the disappointed audience in Las Vegas expressed their frustration.
“Seriously? Jeezy canceled his own RESIDENCY SHOW after people traveled from all over and made sacrifices to attend Jay’s performance?” commented @Lor_Bangy on X.

Several musical heavyweights, including Rihanna, Pharrell, Usher, Clipse, Swizz Beatz, Teyana Taylor, Jermaine Dupri, and the one and only Beyoncé, graced Jay-Z’s stage. While they too likely rearranged their plans to show up, none of their engagements involved a contractual performance.
Ticketmaster confirmed that automatic refunds would be processed at the purchase point.
Barry’s ManiLOW Point
Barry Manilow resumed his complete schedule at the Westgate last Thursday, a feat that seemed like a distant hope for some time.

In April, after undergoing cancer surgery to remove the left half of his lung last Christmas, the seasoned performer gathered his band for rehearsals.
“I thought, ‘Maybe I can still do it,’ so I had everyone together,” Manilow shared with the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I began singing, and everybody started looking at the floor because it didn’t sound like me … I couldn’t get through two songs without gasping for air.”
“I was concerned that part of my career might be over.”
